ABOUT THE INTERPRETER

Nominated for the Victoires de la Musique Classique 2020 in the Revelation Lyric Artist category, winner of numerous singing competitions (Voix Nouvelles 2018, Vienne 2019, Opéra de Marseille, Marmande, Béziers, Salzbourg...), classical revelation of ADAMI in 2011 and the AROP (Paris) in 2013, KEVIN AMIEL was also a member of the Atelier Lyrique de l'Opéra National de Paris between 2011 and 2014, making his debut on the big stage during this period, in La Gioconda, La Traviata, Ariadne at Naxos and Alcestis.
His career has already seen him perform the roles of Alfredo in La Traviata at the Théâtre du Capitole in Toulouse and at the Opéra national de Bordeaux, Nemorino in L'Elisir d'Amore at the Théâtre du Capitole in Toulouse, Rodolphe in an adaptation French version of Puccini's La Bohème by Marc-Olivier Dupin at the Opéra Comique, the title role of Les Contes d'Hoffmann, adapted version of the work for the Dijon Opera, Nadir in Les Pêcheurs de pearls at the Teatro Regio in Turin and at the Opéra de Saint-Etienne, Fenton in Falstaff at the Opéra national de Bordeaux, Lenski in Eugène Onégin at the Opéra de Massy, Gonzalve in L'Heure Espagnole with the Orchester National du Capitole de Toulouse. He also sang in The Seven Last Words of Christ by Théodor Dubois at the Limoges Opera and gave concerts with the Orchester National de Lyon, the Musiciens du Louvre, the Cercle de l'Harmonie and the Cannes Orchestra.
He has also performed at the Rouen Opera, the Muscat Opera in Oman, the Avignon Opera, the Marseille Opera, the Montpellier National Opera, the Toulon.

 

In 2021/22, he sings the Conte di Almaviva in Il Barbiere di Siviglia at the Opéra National du Capitole, in Mozart I Salieri by Rimsky-Korsakov at the Opéra de Toulon, Fernando in Goyescas by Granados at the Opéra de Limoges , Nicias in Thais. at the Tours Opera, Nemorino in L'elisir d'amore at the Bordeaux National Opera, Mahler's Das Lied von der Erde at the Saint-Denis Festival. In June, he sang in the show Musiques en fête at the Chorégies d'Orange and at La Folle soir at the Opéra Radio Classique.
In 2022/23 he sings in Hommage à Maria Callas in Paris, in Lucia di Lammermoor in Tours, in Das Lied von der Erde and Falstaff at the Lille Opera.

 

In 2023/24, he sang Fenton again in Falstaff at the Opéra du Luxembourg and Caen, in Les Dialogues de Carmelites at the Opéra de Massy and Les Pêcheurs de Perles in Saint-Etienne. In Montpellier, he will sing in Carmina Burana and will make his debut in the role of Romeo in Roméo et Juliette by Gounod at the Hong Kong Opera and in various concerts and recitals.

 

He has worked, among others, with conductors such as Michel Plasson, Marc Minkowski, Louis Langrais, Frederic Chaslin, Daniel Oren, Roberto Abbado, Pierre Bleuse, Dan Ettinger, Maxime Pascal, Benjamin Levy, Michele Spotti, Jérémie Rhorer, Antonello Allemandi, Sesto Quatrini, Luciano Acocella, etc….
